Some details on the ISTC engagement of C.H.M. Broeders

After his first visits to Russia in 1996,
the driving force of his ISTC engagement is the initial incentive
of ISTC to establish and to coordinate
civilian projects of common interest of Western partner
together with nuclear weapon specialists of the former Sowjet Union,
based on funding mainly by financial support of Western parties.

He became collaborator in several ISTC projects related to nuclear data and
accelerator driven systems (ADS). The following project numbers from the ISTC listings
have been supported, usually as collaborator:
B-070, B-1341, 839, 1309, 1382, 1606, 2002, 2213, 2267, 2405, 2524, 2573, 2578, 3266, 3880

After the ADTT'99 conference 1999 in Prague he became member of the
Contact Expert Group (CEG) for ISTC ADS projects

In connection with the CEG activities related to ADS integral experiments, in 2003 he was
elected as chairman of the Steering Committee SAD / YALINA-B,
to coordinate ISTC Projects with integral ADS related experiments and in 2005
to secretary of the ISTC CEG.

After the move of the CEG chairman Prof. W. Gudowsky 2006 to a leading position at ISTC,
he became chairman of the Contact Expert Group for ISTC
Projects for Partition and Transmutation (CEG P&T).

After his retirement from FZK in 2007, he is consultant of ISTC
After the withdrawel of the Russian Federation from ISTC in 2010, with a transition phase
until 2015 to complete approved projects adequately, the traditional support for new project
establishing is now practically finished.
